CAN AWARD INITIATIVE

THE CHANGE AGENT HUMANITARIAN AWARD INITIATIVE

This program is an initiative of Change Agent Network. It was founded three years ago. It is designed to acknowledge and honor the excellent works of men, women and organizations in our society who are making the ultimate difference in our world from their own little corner.  We believe that the world will be a much better place for all of mankind if, individually and collectively we try to look out for not only those we are connected to or with but also the less privileged in our midst.

Our organization is currently dedicated and committed to helping, improving and positively changing the lives of the people in
Africa. However, in the United States of America, we organized a special award ceremony held once each year within the State of Louisiana in order to recognize, applaud, appreciate, encourage, and honor outstanding individuals, corporations, and religious organizations that are serving society diligently to bring about positive changes in various areas of the community and the world at large. There are a lot of positive things being done in the United States and around the world as far as serving and taking care of the less fortunate is concerned.  Therefore, we deem it necessary to recognize and commend the outstanding efforts and sacrifices of men and women who are impacting the lives of others by true motives in society.  Most especially during these challenging times of economic crisis around the world.

We identify and honor individuals and organizations that are affecting and positively changing our society in various endeavors of human life.

The rationales behind this program are in two folds:

  1. To honor and promote the excellent works of people who have the heart and dedication to advancing the cause of humanity at the local, national and international levels.
  2. To motivate and challenged others who might be sitting on the fence to get involve into humanitarian services and volunteerism around them as well as emulate the good example of others
