Eric's Partnership Team

I thank God for a year of remarkable achievements in this organization and in the lives of the struggling people of Liberia.  In 2010 we  shipped an 80,000 plus pound container filled with computers, school books and clothing to Liberia, provided  fully sponsored raises for the teachers and staff of Heart of Grace Elementary School and built Grace Academy to 50% completion as of January 2011.  I humbly pray 2011 will be even better for God’s children.

I am very grateful to all of you who got involved in making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in our world.  Nevertheless, as we celebrate these milestones, let’s bear in mind the huge challenges ahead of us in accomplishing our vision and mission in Liberia this year.

I have dedicated my life to this mission full-time and need personal financial support to enable me to carry out my duties as I navigate between the United States and Africa.  Please kindly consider assisting me by joining my partnership team through one-time or monthly tax deductible contributions.

This is the reason why I need you to join my partnership team. In 2009, I travelled to Africa for three and one half months as usual to build yet another school and to oversee other projects I have undertaken in the local community.
The total organization money I had was about ten thousand dollars to implement these projects. My youngest sister, Tetelma Wowoh, who I had lost contact with and the rest of our entire family for over fifteen years as a result of the civil war, was in high school on sponsorship. Tee’s school fees, transportation and food money was due. This was about $250 USD but unfortunately, I did not have any money of my own to give to her. At the same time, there was no food at my Mom’s house for the family to eat.

Now, my problem was how do I explain to my poor mother and sister that I had no money at all of my own, when I came from America which is believed to be the most blessed nation on earth. And of course building free schools for children and paying salaries to teachers cost hundreds of dollars monthly. This was indeed a very challenging and character building time for me.

Secondly, every time I travel to Africa, I don’t make any pay check over there. I spend everything I earn in America and return to the States broke. I am constantly faced with the difficulty of renting an apartment or fueling my car to search for jobs, paying phone bills, car insurance, etc.

I sincerely appreciate your consideration of this request and would welcome the opportunity to discuss your questions or concerns regarding these needs in person.

Thanks a lot for joining my partnership team. May God continue to bless the good works of your hands as we endeavor to rebrand the generation one child at a time and one step at a time.
